This August’s entertainment lineup at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) includes more than a few new features as well as some traditional fan-favorites that are sure to make New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) weekend unforgettable.
WHAT’S NEW AND FRESH?
“The Magic Mile” Happy Hour Show | Saturday, Aug. 22 | 6-8 p.m.
Grab a drink, relax and enjoy “The Magic Mile” Happy Hour Show hosted by NASCAR personality Jose Castillo and New Englanders Mamba Smith and Alan Cavanna at The Groove. This live Saturday night talk show will feature one of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour’s 40 Greatest Drivers and winner in all three of NASCAR’s top series, Steve Park, NASCAR Hall of Famer Dick Berggren, Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano and Austin Cindric and “Door Bumper Clear’s” Freddie Kraft and Tommy Baldwin.
Everybody Wants Some Concert | Saturday, Aug. 22 | 8:30-10 p.m.
Everybody Wants Some, the ultimate tribute to the legendary Van Halen, will transport you back to the golden age of rock when they hit the Cracker Barrel Stage, located just outside the infield tunnel. Expect to hear all the hits and classic album tracks that defined a generation, performed with the energy and precision that Van Halen themselves would be proud of.
Cracker Barrel Speedway Experience | Friday – Sunday, Aug. 21-23
The Cracker Barrel Speedway Experience will feature the Cracker Barrel Stage, giant versions of classic games such as the peg game, cornhole and of course, the famous rocking chairs.
Tim Dugger Concert presented by Keystone | Friday, Aug. 21 | Approx. 9 p.m.
Alabama native and NASCAR enthusiast Tim Dugger will perform live on Friday night on The Flat Track Stage following SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels and the fireworks show. He’s full of musical talent, southern charm and a little bit of wit. While frequenting bars and clubs near racetracks, Tim developed not only a loyal following of race fans, but he also became a favorite of several NASCAR drivers and their crews.
Family Movie Night: “Zootopia 2” | Thursday, Aug. 20 | 8 p.m.
Campers can enjoy Family Movie Night in a new location this year. “Zootopia 2” will be shown on a big screen on the Cracker Barrel Stage located just outside the infield tunnel. Come early to play some games including giant versions of cornhole and the peg game from Cracker Barrel, NASCAR 25, Dollar Tree plinko and a Ticketmaster reaction game. Don’t forget to bring your favorite snacks and a chair to enjoy the movie.
TRADITIONAL FAN-FAVORITES
The Groove fan hangout, located in the S2 Lot, will feature Camper Appreciation Musical Bingo (Wednesday | 6-8 p.m.) and Karaoke (Wednesday | 8-9 p.m.), both presented by Keystone, a live performance and line dancing from the April Cushman Band and 603 Line Dancing (Thursday | 7-9 p.m.) and the ever-popular Dueling Pianos show from The Flying Ivories (Saturday | 9-11 p.m.). Race fans can also sign up to ride the Elm City Party Bike all weekend long at The Groove and enjoy a fun and social way to explore the NHMS property while exercising.
Trackside Live is back Sunday morning on the Cracker Barrel Stage from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. This high-energy pre-race entertainment show hosted by Kenny Wallace and John Roberts will feature some of the top NCS stars before they battle it out on the racetrack at the Dollar Tree 301.
The NCS Hauler Parade will be led by the New Hampshire State Police, Loudon Police and Fire Departments and the NHMS Toyota Camry XSE pace car. Approximately 40 brightly colored, 18-wheeled NCS haulers will drive along Gil Rogers Highway starting at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Friday and make their way through the campgrounds before entering the infield tunnel at 8 a.m.
Families can explore the popular NASCAR Kids Zone in the Fan Zone all weekend featuring LOSI Hobby-Grade RC Cars, LEGO Build and Race, Victory Lane, the Toyota Coloring Book Car, the Gaming Garage, Slot Car Racing, a Crash Circuit and Reaction Race.
The Fan Zone will be open Friday (12-5 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) in the S2 Lot across from the infield tunnel full of games, prizes, rides, giveaways, racing simulators, driver appearances and more.
Friday night at The Flat Track, race fans can enjoy giant inflatable games – giant pong, giant cornhole and a bounce house – during SIG SAUER Academy Dirt Duels. Then, once the final checkered flag flies, an amazing fireworks display will light up the sky presented by Keystone before Tim Dugger hits the stage.
The New England Racing Museum, located near The Flat Track and the speedway’s South Entrance, will be open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily, Wednesday through Sunday, Aug. 19-23. Race fans are encouraged to explore the history of New England motor racing through more than 30 historic race cars and motorcycle displays as well as an iRacing simulator, library and other interactive exhibits.
NHMS’s Food Court, located behind the Main Grandstands, will be open Friday through Sunday and is the perfect pit stop to fuel up with delicious grab ‘n’ go options, race weekend favorites and more.

This summer’s Dollar Tree 301 NCS race will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23 and is one of three NASCAR races at “The Magic Mile” from Aug. 21-23. It will be preceded on Doubleheader Saturday by the Team EJP 175 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) race (1:30 p.m.) and the Mohegan Sun 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) race (4:30 p.m.).
