Lisa McGahan of Manchester, N.H., has been named New Hampshire Motor Speedway's Salesperson of the Year for the second straight year. As the speedway's director of corporate relations, McGahan received the award on Wednesday night in Las Vegas, where NASCAR is hosting its annual awards banquet.

With more than 75 accounts to manage, McGahan increased her year-over-year book of business by 67 percent, while also exceeding her overall sales goal by 62 percent.

"Lisa's leadership and ambition has made her an invaluable asset to our corporate sales team. Lisa has an uncanny ability to wear many hats within our department, which is a huge reason behind her being the recipient of this award for a second straight season," said Steve Markos, vice president of corporate sales for NHMS. "I am immensely proud of Lisa's accomplishments for the 2017 season, but I also know that she's not the type of person to settle - so this means only bigger and better things for Lisa and New Hampshire Motor Speedway in 2018."

As the speedway's director of corporate relations, McGahan managed her accounts as well as the suite and hospitality staff, Victory Lane Committee and played a large role in all partnership activation during both Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race weekends. She also co-directed all event-related activities at the speedway throughout the 2017 season.

"It was very humbling to win this award last year, and it's certainly even more so to win it again in 2017," said McGahan. "Nothing is more important to me than the relationships I build through our sales department. We have a very clear vision here at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, so living up to those high expectations is certainly something I'm very proud of."

McGahan, who currently resides in Manchester, N.H. with her husband, Devin, and daughter, Madison, was born and raised in Windham, N.H. She received her B.S. in Hospitality Management from the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire in 2001 before beginning what has been a decade-long tenure at the speedway in May of 2006.

Along with a trophy and internal awards from the speedway, McGahan was honored with a trip to Las Vegas to attend the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Awards Ceremony on Friday.
