Gift of Lights Presented by Eastern Propane & Oil

Friday, November 23 - Monday, December 31, 2018

The holidays are here, and that means it’s time for New Hampshire Motor Speedway to trade in the checkered flags for two million twinkly LED lights for the eighth annual Gift of Lights presented by Eastern Propane and Oil, open Friday, Nov. 23 - Monday, Dec. 31!

Be sure to check the  for days of operation when planning your trip, and please enter through the South Entrance.

The Gift of Lights has become a family tradition during the holidays. Open from 4:30 – 9:00 p.m., the 2.5-mile drive-thru light show will feature the Tunnel of Lights (the 130-foot-long infield entrance and exit tunnels will be brightly lit, giving a truly memorable experience that kids of all ages will need to see to believe), 400 displays, 60 different scenes, a s’mores pit, pictures with Santa Claus (every day Gift of Lights is open, Nov. 23 - Dec. 23) and you can even meet Milo on Saturday evenings, Nov. 24 - Dec. 22 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Admission is $25.00/car or bus (up to 15 people). Buses containing more than 15 people will also be charged $2.00/person for anyone over the 15.

Fundraising for the community is a major part of Gift of Lights, and that begins immediately at the front. $5.00 from each per car load admission will benefit Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter, which is the official charity for New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Fundraising for the community is a major part of Gift of Lights, and that begins immediately at the front. $5.00 from each per car load admission will benefit Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter, which is the official charity for New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

SCCNH hosts events and promotions geared around race weeks and other activities at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, as well as events across New England.

Each December, SCCNH distributes grants to nonprofit organizations in the region. Since its inception in 2009, the Granite State chapter has raised more than $1.7 million, which has benefitted more than 667,000 children across New England.

Operating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the New Hampshire Chapter is governed by a board of local trustees whose sole purpose is to distribute the funds raised each year to qualified local children's-based 501(c)(3) organizations.

For a $2.00 discount, visitors can bring three or more non-perishable canned goods for donation to the Loudon Food Pantry.

Since the Gift of Lights first started in 2011, food and monetary donations have allowed New Hampshire Motor Speedway to contribute over 85,000 pounds of food to the Loudon Food Pantry providing an estimated 70,000 meals during the holiday and winter months.

Loudon Food Pantry is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which provides food to households who are struggling to feed themselves. The Loudon Food Pantry supports Belmont, Canterbury, Chichester and Loudon, N.H. The Food Pantry opened its doors in July 2008.

The Loudon Food Pantry wants to reach and assist as many struggling households in its service area as possible.

What’s better than warming up by an open fire? Roasting marshmallows on that fire, of course! The Loudon Firefighters Association will host a s’mores pit on Friday and Saturday nights during the Gift of Lights with proceeds supporting the Loudon Firefighters Association.

Last year, $2,400 was raised and used to help purchase a universal terrain vehicle to help with forest fires and rescues in the town.

The Loudon Fire Department provides Fire and Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Loudon. Station #1 is located at 8 Cooper Street and Station #2 is located at 56 Clough Hill Road. Station #1 is staffed with personnel 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
