Ambetter, America’s number one Marketplace Health Insurer, has extended its partnership with New Hampshire Motor Speedway to become the entitlement sponsor for New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series race. The Ambetter 301 will take place at 3 p.m. on July 17 as part of the speedway’s traditional mid-summer NASCAR weekend. The healthcare provider will also receive premium signage displays and hospitality opportunities, feature activation in the Fan Zone and the opportunity to select VIP dignitaries.

    Two local nonprofits experienced true holiday spirit, each benefitting from the generosity of those who attended Gift of Lights at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The 11th annual event, which ran from Thanksgiving through Jan. 2, kicked off the year’s fundraising efforts for the New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities with more than $46,000 and provided more than 1,300 meals to the Loudon Food Pantry.

    The holiday spirit filled The Palace Theatre in Manchester, N.H. Wednesday as Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig joined the New Hampshire Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities, the official charity of New Hampshire Motor Speedway, at its 12th annual Grant Distribution Ceremony. Grants were handed out to 23 local nonprofits totaling $136,500 in front of the festive backdrop from “A Christmas Carol.”

    The family tradition of driving through 2.5 miles of dazzling Christmas light displays at New Hampshire Motor Speedway continues this year with the Gift of Lights. The 11th annual event will spread 39 nights of holiday cheer with fundraising for the local community from Thanksgiving Thursday, Nov. 25 through Sunday, Jan. 2.

    The New England fan-favorite NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour has been added to the lineup for New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s 2022 NASCAR race weekend, July 16-17. The modifieds will kick off the race weekend on Doubleheader Saturday, July 16 with a 100-lap race followed by a 200-lap NASCAR Xfinity Series race. The NASCAR Cup Series will cap off the weekend with a 301-lap race on Sunday, July 17.

    New Hampshire Motor Speedway staff members enjoyed a day of community service and team building Wednesday for the third annual Speedway Cares Day in Loudon, N.H., hometown to “The Magic Mile.” The team spent a combined total of 78 hours scraping, repainting and restoring more than 250 feet of fence at Loudon’s oldest town cemetery.
