New Hampshire Motor Speedway will host the second of six New England Region Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) events on Sunday, May 2.

These regional races give fans the unique opportunity to see a wide range of sports cars including racing sedans, sports racers, and formula/open-wheel racers. Over 40 different classes compete at SCCA regional events.

The club offers training to help aspiring amateur drivers develop and sharpen their skills.

“For decades, the Sports Car Club of America has been the driving force in grassroots road racing,” said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “The New England Region of the SCCA is one of the strongest clubs in the United States.  Their commitment to road course racing and training is unmatched.”

Tickets for Sunday’s event can be purchased at the speedway’s main gate for just $25 and children 11 and under are free.
