Toyota, NHMS Renew Partnership
LOUDON, N.H. - If there's a company that knows how to "win on Sunday and sell on Monday" at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, it's Toyota. Speedway officials announced today that it has renewed its relationship with the popular manufacturer, retaining Toyota as the speedway's "official vehicle" through 2016.
Toyota has been the speedway's partner since 2011, and has enjoyed tremendous success both on the track and throughout the Boston region marketplace. Drivers have piloted Toyota Camrys into victory lane in three straight NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races dating back to 2012, while the manufacturer continues to be a leader in American automotive production, maintaining 10 manufacturing plants throughout the United States.
"It is very gratifying to see Toyota recognize the huge popularity of NASCAR racing here in New England and use it as part of its marketing platform. NASCAR delivers a raving fan base that is the most brand-loyal in all of sports," said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager of NHMS. "We look forward to working closely with Toyota for another three years to help in developing more initiatives that will translate into increased vehicle sales."
Last year, Toyota used the Magic Mile as its host site to launch the new redesigned 2014 Tundra with local New England dealerships.

Since joining the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in 2007, Toyota has won four of the last 10 Sprint Cup Series races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, including the last three - Denny Hamlin (Sept., 2012), Brian Vickers (July, 2013) and Matt Kenseth (Sept., 2013). Toyota has also won five of the last six NASCAR Nationwide Series races, six of the last eight NASCAR K&N Pro Series East races, and three straight races in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, which will return to NHMS in September after a two-year hiatus.
The agreement provides Toyota with the ability to use the track for annual events, new product launches, owner's events and other activities throughout the year. In addition, Toyota vehicles will be used as the "official" pace vehicle for all speedway events, including the Camping World RV Sales 301 (July 10-13) and OSRAM SYLVANIA 300 (Sept. 18-21) NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekends.
Additional benefits include widespread signage, race tickets and hospitality, and prominent advertising space allocated in the speedway's various publications.
