Race "The Magic Mile" This Weekend
At speeds of up to 140 mph, experience the same thrills that Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon felt during last weekend’s SYLVANIA 300 by driving a stock car around New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Beginning today through Sunday, the Richard Petty Driving Experience will offer several programs to fulfill every race fans need for speed.
The Rookie Experience allows participants to take eight-laps around the 1.058-mile oval behind the driver’s seat.
The King’s Experience gives fans a higher level of confidence in their driving ability at higher speeds. This 18-lap program features two sessions, eight laps of rip roaring power and 10 laps of increased speed and excitement.
Finally, RPDE will offer the Racing Experience for those diehard racers. The 50-lap experience allows you to get in the driver’s seat. Learn the drive-line and get a feel for the track with a Ride-Along where you ride shotgun for three laps. Next, get behind the wheel and receive instruction from your crew chief over the radio while driving in the lead/follow, side-by-side tandem and passing driving sessions. Two driver’s meetings are conducted throughout the program to give you feedback and guidance from your pit road instructor.
For those who don’t want to get behind the wheel, Richard Petty Driving Experience will also offer the popular Ride-Along Experience throughout the weekend. This three-lap qualifying run allows the passenger to ride shotgun in a seat of a NASCAR race car driven by a professional instructor.
