NASCAR's Version of "Locker Room" Access
Pre-race pit passes provide unprecedented access
With a pre-race pit pass, fans can experience pit road from a crew member's perspective before the race. Fans may roam the pit area in the morning before the race, where they can check out pit boxes and many of the race cars, as well as get frontstage access to the pre-race concert.
The access does not guarantee driver interaction, but many fans have been seen snapping a quick photo or grabbing an autograph from a driver on his or her way through the infield. It does not give access to the Cup garage area.
Please note that pit road goes hot 90 minutes before the scheduled drop of the green flag. At that time, all fans will be asked to move to the front of the stage on the track and/or clear all remaining infield areas. Coolers and beverages are not allowed on pit road and must be left outside of the infield.
A pre-race pit pass is sold as an upgrade to the race day experience. It does not include access to the grandstand area, which must be purchased separately. It is only available on Sunday of the Monster Energy Series race weekend and Saturday of the Shot Track Extravaganza weekend.
