Description: Director of Events

Summary:
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking a highly passionate, experienced and creative individual to add to the Speedway's management team. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the day to day activities of the Events Department including the planning and execution of all events at facility including NASCAR, motorcycle, endurance and vintage racing events.

Job Responsibilities:
•Facilitate inter departmental communications surrounding all events
•Plan and execute NASCAR pre-race functions
•Oversee planning and execution of employee functions
•Research and generate concepts to enhance the guest experience
•Work hand in hand with the Director of Operations to expand the facility rental program
•Manage budgets for selected events
•Work directly with Corporate Sponsor Relations to plan, layout and execute Hospitality Village
•Generate and research new event ideas for NHMS and their partners
•Represent company on selected organization's Board of Directors
•Other areas on an as needed basis

Skills and Attributes:
•Self motivated with a desire to be successful
•The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
•Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to speak and read English
•Capability to lift at least 30 lbs, and work long hours in an outdoor setting
•Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as necessary
•Confidence to make quick, logical decisions under pressure
•Ability to understand state and local permitting requirements

Experience and Education:
•High School/GED required/ Bachelor's degree
•Between 6-10 years of related work experience
•Experience creating, managing and balancing large scale budgets
•Minimum of 5 years of management experience
•Microsoft Office Suite experience required
•More than 5 years of experience at NASCAR sanctioned events
•Large entertainment venue experience preferred

Compensation:
•This is a year-round, salaried position

Description: Account Executive

Summary:
Opportunity to join the largest sports entertainment facility in New England. Responsible for selling multifaceted sponsorships into NASCAR and non NASCAR events. Maintain client relationships and manage account activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and manage sponsorship programs surrounding specific race events
Generate revenues in accordance with specific budgetary goals
Execution and daily management of sponsorship sales
Continual development of prospect lists
Maintain daily communication with clients, prospects
Facilitate communication and activities between firm, clients, and the track
Maintain thorough working knowledge of motor sports and NASCAR
Provide management with feedback and recommendations for sponsorship programs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to meet and deal effectively with clients and prospects
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
• Excellent time-management, organizational, and self motivational skills
• Excellent composition skills; oral and written
• Experience with public presentations/face to face meetings
• Ability to service multiple clients and various assignments
• Ability to work well with a team and independently

Educational Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree
• 2-5 years of sales, marketing, or advertising experience
• Extensive knowledge and passion of motor sports a plus but not required

Description: Group Ticket Sales

Summary: 
The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is seeking highly-motivated and dedicated sales candidates looking to perform within a work environment of a Speedway Ticket Sales Office. The primary responsibility is to generate full season and group ticket sales.

Job Responsibilities:
Prospect potential full season, partial season and group ticket clients through daily phone calls and email leads
Actively prospect and research new sales leads
Provide excellent customer service and generate repeat business and referrals
Work in tandem with the Ticket Operations department to establish a seamless transition from customer sales to account service
When necessary, support Ticket Operations with service needs

Experience and Education:

Compensation: 
Hourly pay/plus commission
