It's The Love Bug meets The Fast and the Furious as New Hampshire Motor Speedway prepares for the 24th annual Vintage Racing Celebration. With a showdown of classic cars battling it out on track and a tuner car showcase off track, there will be plenty for fans to take in between Friday, Aug. 1 and Monday, Aug. 4.

This year's edition of the Vintage Racing Celebration includes oval and road course racing, as well as the return of Hot Import Nights.

"There's truly something for everyone at this year's Vintage Racing Celebration," said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager of the speedway. "Whether you're someone looking for some great old school modified, sprint or stock car racing or someone that wants to see the latest turbo-charged vehicles, you'll be able to do both at New Hampshire Motor Speedway."

The Vintage Racing Celebration will begin with twists and turns with the Road Course Days on Aug. 1-2 and will feature vintage sports cars and formula cars from the Vintage Racing Group, as well as the Moat Mountain Legend Car Road Course Series, Sign Works Legend Car Oval Series and Crown Royal Bandolero Series on the 1.6-mile road course.

The speedway will transform overnight back to the 1.058-mile oval for the Oval Days on Aug. 3-4 featuring vintage midget, modified, sprint, Indy and stock cars. The North East Mini Stock Tour will run its first-ever full-oval race at NHMS on Aug. 3.

The off-track action will be just as entertaining with Hot Import Nights in the S2 display area on Aug. 2 from 12-10 p.m. The show will feature drifting demonstrations, a tuner car display with over a 150 custom vehicles and a stage that will feature music, DJs, and modeling competition.
