Fans will get VIP Access of New Hampshire Motor Speedway, when it opens its doors for the 2012 season today.  The third-annual FANtasy Drive Open House provides free admission to fans that just can’t wait any longer for race season in New England.  The event goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fans with NASCAR tickets to a 2012 event at NHMS will have the unique opportunity to take their car out on the track for three laps behind NHMS’ Toyota Camry Pace Car.  Race tickets will be on sale all day for anyone interested in purchasing them.  An additional three laps may be obtained with a $25 donation to Speedway Children’s Charities and attendees without race tickets may also hit the track with the same donation.

Aside from the drive, NHMS has a packed schedule with events throughout the day.  The highly touted Speedway Star competition will feature 16 of the areas best voices competing against one another for the chance to sing the National Anthem at an event later in the year.  The infield will feature driving demonstrations, car displays and an autograph session with local drivers.  There will also be access to Bruton Smith’s suite, as well as the race control booth.

Kids are encouraged to help Milo celebrate his third birthday party.  The NHMS mascot will host his annual egg hunt at 11 a.m. with mascot games and a birthday celebration to follow.

There will also be live music from Ryan Brooks Kelly and the Long Tailed Monkey to entertain as fans move from event to event.
