The North East Mini Stock Tour became the first series to visit the New Hampshire Motor Speedway Victory Lane in 2014. Emerson Cayer started on the pole in the road course race and led all 20 laps en route to victory.

Cayer, who also won last year's road course race at NHMS, needed to hold off Toby Wells late to preserve the win.  Wells had visions of an NHMS victory after winning five times on the tour in 2013.  He was able to get by second-running Nik Coates in the middle of the race to make a run at the leader, but was unable to pass him.  Coates went on to finish third.

The race marked the season opener for NEMST and was a part of the opening race day at NHMS, which also included legends races in the Moat Mountain Road Course Series and Sign Works Oval Series, as well as the Granite State Bandolero Series.

NEMST will race again at NHMS on Sunday, August 3.  It will be the series' first-ever race on the full, one-mile oval.
