Ryan Truex grabbed his first win of 2010 with a dominating performance at the New England 125, on the same day he formally announced his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut.
Driving the No. 00 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota for Michael Waltrip Racing, Truex started sixth but spent much of the race leading the field.
"We had the best race car and the best team," said Ryan Truex. "This feels like the Daytona 500 for me. It's the biggest race of the year for us and it's really special."
The 18 year old Mayetta, NJ native is clearly on the fast track to a successful career. He is the defending NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Champion; the youngest driver to capture the title.
With the win today, Ryan joined his father, Martin Sr., and brother, Martin Jr., on the NHMS K&N Pro Series East wins list.
Kevin Swindell took home a second place finish behind the wheel of the No. 9 Curb Records/NOS Energy Drink Chevrolet.
The third place finisher was Revolution Racing's Darrell Wallace, Jr., driving the No. 6 Revolution Racing Chevrolet.
