LOUDON, N.H. - Michael Waltrip Racing and Richard Childress Racing will be looking for the inside track on the Camping World RV Sales 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on July 13 when they visit New Hampshire Motor Speedway for a test and tune session on July 1 and 2.

Defending July NHMS race winner Brian Vickers, two-time NHMS winner Clint Bowyer and four-time NHMS winner Jeff Burton will all be logging laps for MWR on the 1.058-mile oval.

The two-day session also marks the first time the famed No. 3 will race around the Magic Mile, as rookie RCR driver Austin Dillon will join teammates Paul Menard and three-time NHMS winner Ryan Newman at the testing.

The grandstands will be open and free of charge to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The two-day test session will take place a little more than a one week before NASCAR returns to New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the Camping World RV Sales 301.

The Magic Mile has been good to Vickers of late. The defending Camping World RV Sales 301 champion has four top-10s in his last five starts at New Hampshire, adding a seventh-place finish in September to his win last July. Vickers has five top-10s, including a pair of top-fives in 16 starts this season, his first as a full-time pilot of MWR.

Bowyer has a pair of wins (in 2007 and 2010) at New Hampshire, which could be just the confidence boost he needs, having yet to find victory lane so far in 2014.

Burton, now retired as a full-time driver in NASCAR, will be making only his second start of the season. But don't expect a lot of rust for the pilot who won a race at NHMS for four consecutive seasons - from 1997-2000 - including all 300 laps in his most recent start in 2000.

It's been nearly 15 years since the No. 3 last raced around New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Dale Earnhardt was the driver and he finished 12th in the Sept. 17, 2000 Dura Lube 300 sponsored by Kmart. Fourteen years later, Austin Dillon is now piloting the famed No. 3. And while the rookie will make his first Cup start at NHMS on July 13, there's a good chance he'll contend as Dillon has a pair of third-place finishes in three Nationwide starts in Loudon; two top-fives in three Camping World Truck starts; and two top-fives in his only two K&N Pro Series East starts.

New Hampshire has been a tricky track for Menard, who has yet to record a top-10 in 14 career starts. He'll be looking for added speed and experience. but the same can't be said about his teammate, Newman, who has 15 top-10s, including six top-fives and three wins in 24 career starts at NHMS.

This year's racing season will once against be highlighted by two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekends, including the Camping World RV Sales 301 on July 13 and the SYLVANIA 300 on Sept. 21. To purchase tickets, which now include special pricing for kids under the age of 12, call the track's ticket hotline at (603) 783-4931 or by visiting www.nhms.com.
