After a wild Wednesday night in Bristol, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will reunite on Saturday, September 19, during the SYLVANIA 300 event weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
In the last three Modified Tour races in New Hampshire, Ted Christopher has had a share of the lead coming out of turn 4 on the final lap. In June, he and Todd Szegedy collided just before the start/finish line, giving Donny Lia his first win of the season.
On Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the New Hampshire 100, Christopher will be going for his sixth Modified Tour win at the speedway. Lia could be in position for the Lincoln Electric/Airgas Track Championship, as he goes for his second win of the year in New Hampshire.
In the Heluva Good! 200 at 3:00 p.m., Ron Hornaday will look to become the first driver in the Truck Series to win three races in a row at "The Magic Mile." No stranger to winning streaks, Hornaday set a Truck Series record with five straight victories this season. He also holds a dominating lead in the Series points standings.
Christopher, Lia, and Hornaday will all be in action again at the speedway on Saturday, September 19. Tickets for the New Hampshire 100, the Heluva Good! 200, and the SYLVANIA 300 are on sale now. The MegaTicket package features three days of racing for $99. The SYLVANIA Speed Zone seating section offers fans a $39 Sunday ticket. With these promotions, fans have the unique opportunity to experience NASCAR racing for approximately 12 cents a lap!
