Some lucky race fan will drive off in a new 2008 Chevrolet Malibu following the SYLVANIA 300 on September 14 as the grand prize winner in New Hampshire Motor Speedway's latest, innovative economic stimulus program.

In addition to the car, twenty more guests will really enjoy their next trip to the supermarket as they share more than $6,000 of free Hannaford grocery cards.

The program will also reward 10 lucky fans with a pair of pre-race pit passes to the June 28, 2009 LENOX Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the first event in the "Race to the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup."

All race fans that have purchased a ticket for the SYLVANIA 300 by the close of business on September 10 will be eligible to receive these rewards.  The grand prize winner will be announced as part of the pre-race ceremonies at the race on Sunday, September 14. Other entry options, with no purchase required, are available at or via entry blank at the speedway.

"The first economic stimulus package was so well received by our fans that we decided our latest initiative would feature a new car and help out with the grocery bill," said Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager for the speedway. "We have seen some positive signs that the economy is improving, so maybe our stimulus packages are helping!  However, the bottom line is to continue to recognize those who support the speedway by constantly improving our rewards program.

"When this program started in June with the free mortgage offer for six months, we had no idea that we would get the incredible opportunity to meet the Solloway family of Manchester, N.H.  Their character and dedication to family is remarkable.  They represent the best in race fans everywhere."

For the opportunity to be included in this economic stimulus program, fans may purchase tickets to the SYLVANIA 300 online at or by calling the speedway's Ticket Hotline at (603) 783-4931.
