Exciting racing is the theme of the SYLVANIA 300 weekend, and it will culminate on Sunday afternoon as the top-12 drivers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series fight to claim their place in history when the "Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup" starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The weekend will kick off on Thursday, September 11, 2008, with qualifying for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour New Hampshire 100, and the  NASCAR Camping World East Series Heluva Good!® Fall 125.

Friday will be a Heluva Good!® day.  The drivers of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will run two laps around the 1.058 mile oval looking to capture the Heluva Good!® Pole and to set the field for Sunday's feature event, the SYLVANIA 300.  The day will conclude with the NASCAR Camping World East Series Heluva Good!® Fall 125.

Tickets for all the action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are on sale now.  Fans will once again have the opportunity to purchase pre-race pit passes for access to pit road on Sunday, September 14, prior to the SYLVANIA 300.  In June, fans were treated to a town meeting with Speedway Motorsports Chairman, Bruton Smith and New Hampshire Motor Speedway executive vice president and general manager, Jerry Gappens.
