Chuck Hossfeld won the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour New England 100 from the pole today at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The modifieds once again showcased some of the best racing of the weekend, passing side-by-side until the start/finish line. In the final laps, the top drivers swapped the lead back and forth and fought each other until the last second.
Hossfeld barely beat modified legend Ted Christopher for the victory, claiming the win by 0.001 second.
This was the third win for Hossfeld at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and his first from the pole.
