From fireworks to cookouts, New Hampshire Motor Speedway would like to wish everyone a safe and happy July Fourth weekend.
The stars of NASCAR may be on their way to Daytona, but on track action continues at “The Magic Mile” this weekend, with the New Hampshire Cycling Club, the COM Sports Car Club, and the Boston BMW Club.
Tonight, the N.H. Cycling Club will return to the speedway to promote new participants in the sport of cycling, recreational riders, and for new riders; a safe introduction to bicycle racing.
July 2-4 brings the COM Sports Car Club (COMSCC) to the speedway. The COMSCC is one of the oldest active clubs in the country. The club has a long-standing reputation for excellence in high-speed driving instruction and competitive time trials on sports car tracks around the Northeast and Canada.
The Boston chapter BMW Club will host another driving school at NHMS on Monday, July 5. The school is intended to improve driving skills and highlight the relationship between driver and machine. The BMW Club is conducted on race tracks for the purpose of handle and control at speeds that are not typically reached on public roads.
