Shaun Buffington won the first of three legends cars race at NHMS this weekend.  He picked up his second Moat Mountain Road Course Legends Series win of the season, while Tom Gray and Dean Dezak finished second and third.

Buffington started on the pole and used that to run away from the field early, never seeming to be challenged in the caution-free, 12-lap event.  Gray, his teammate, started alongside him in the front row, but fell from the position early before battling his way back to finish second.  Likewise, Dezak started third and finished there.  Taylor Martin put together an impressive run to finish fourth.

The Granite State Legends Cars will race on the mini-oval at 5 p.m. on Saturday, before returning to the road course to close out the weekend at 11:15 on Sunday morning.
