The cars and stars of NASCAR may be making their way to Dover but the action continues this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with a little bit of everything for the motorsports enthusiast.
Friday through Sunday race fans can experience the same thrill that Clint Bowyer felt crossing the Granite Stripe last weekend when The Richard Petty Driving Experience returns to “The Magic Mile” for the last time in 2010.
Take control behind the wheel of a NASCAR style stock car. There are still spots available for all three experiences. For those fans that would rather ride shotgun the Ride-Along Experience is available throughout the weekend too.
On Saturday, motorcycle enthusiasts can take a scenic ride through southern N.H. and around “The Magic Mile,” during Speedway Children’s Charities “Ride to Make a Difference.” The ride sponsored by National Powersports is $30 per rider/ $15 per passenger and includes a barbeque sponsored by Energy Partners at NHMS after the ride. All proceeds will benefit the New Hampshire Chapter of SCC.
Also on Saturday and Sunday the All American Soap Box Derby will host its Fall Rally at the speedway’s south end of the five lane highway. Children from all over New Hampshire will participate in this unique program that promotes close parent-child activities while building and racing a derby car.
