The Sno Bowl at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway was approved for a second year at last night's Loudon planning board meeting.

The two-day snowmobile event raised noise concerns among residents in nearby Canterbury when it was proposed last year because the track had agreed under previous ownership not to hold events during the winter.

The inaugural event took place in February, and planning board members said they would wait to approve it for subsequent years until hearing feedback from Canterbury residents.

The 2011 event has been approved for some time between Jan. 15 and Feb. 28.
