When racingfans attend a major motorsports event, they expect a fast, sensation-enhancing experience.Speed, Sights and Sounds – That’s what they want, and they want it fast.
Two Indianapolis-based companies are providing race tracks around the country, through their RaceTrackApp, the ability to enhance the fan experience on race weekends.
Created by Indiana’s leading app developer, Boost Media & Entertainment, in partnership with GRand Solutions LLC, a motorsports marketing company also based in Indianapolis, RaceTrackApp allows users easy mobile access to track promotions, schedules, ticket purchasing, driver appearances, push notifications and more. Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) is in its second season using the RaceTrackApp, and now others are following the TMS lead.
Boost and GRand Solutions recently signed an agreement with the Charlotte-based Speedway Motorsports Inc. (SMI) to build mobile apps for the SMI family of motorsports facilities. The tracks include Charlotte Motor Speedway, Infineon Raceway, Kentucky Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway. The apps will launch with the start of each track’s racing season.
“RaceTrackApp offers fans the ultimate track experience with incredible convenience,” says Ruthie Forbes, co-owner of GRand Solutions. “Major racing venues are massive offering a variety of experiences and services. Together, Boost and GRand are able to package that potential fan experience into an easy-to-use app.”
The Charlotte Motor Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway apps are now available. The New Hampshire Motor Speedway is targeting a launch in late June, so the app will be available before the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 on July 15.
