The American-Canadian Tour is getting supersized this weekend when the series races into New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the only superspeedway on the late model schedule.

Fan favorite Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Mass. will try to grab the checkered flag for a second straight year.  He has won two qualifiers this season giving him the momentum coming into this weekend’s race. MacDonald will be pulling triple duty this weekend racing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series TheRaceDayRaffleSeries.com 175 and NASCAR K & N Pro Series East New Hampshire 125.

One of the most popular and most successful drivers in the 20 year history of NHMS will complete the field of 43 invited teams. Running a part-time schedule, local legend Brad Leighton, of Center Harbor, N.H. locked up one of the final invitations over the weekend.

“I think we have assembled a very good field of 43 teams to represent us at NHMS this coming Saturday. I think the fans will get to see some of the best short track racers in the region put on a great race, and I think this group will do just that,” said Tom Curley, President of the American-Canadian Tour.

The ACT Series will be part of an exciting triple header on Saturday, September 18. They will run immediately following the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour F.W. Webb 100 and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series TheRaceDayRaffleSeries.com 175 races.
