It's been a season to expect the unexpected.  Dale Earnhardt Jr. got his first-career win at Pocono; Jimmie Johnson got his first-career win at Michigan; Carl Edwards got his first-career win on a road course; and, 21-year-old rookie Kyle Larson has made it seem like it's only a matter of time before he gets his first-career win, period.

Expectations remain undefined as the Sprint Cup Series heads to Kentucky Speedway for the weekend.  The track has only been on the schedule for four seasons, so there's not a lot of track history for the Sprint Cup Series.  It falls under the "cookie cutter" category at 1.5 miles around, but has a reputation for being bumpy with a difficult racing surface.  That will only make the race more exciting for fans to watch.

Let's wave the race flags on this week's fantasy picks:

Green Flag - Jimmie Johnson

Johnson always performs well on the intermediates.  That includes Kentucky where he's started and finished in the top-10 in all three races.  More relevant to this season, Johnson has six consecutive top-10s, which includes three wins.

Caution Flag - Kyle Busch

Busch has a series-best 243 Laps Led at Kentucky, which included a win in the inaugural race in 2011.  Like Johnson, he's swept the top-10 in his three career races at the track.  But, he hasn't been consistent of late.  A ninth-place finish at Charlotte is his only top-10 in the last seven races, so he's far from a guarantee.

Red Flag - Greg Biffle

A ninth-place finish last week broke up a six-week slump of finishes no better than 16th, but that doesn't provide a whole lot for bragging rights.  In three starts at Kentucky, Biffle's best finishes were identical 21sts in 2011 and '12, so he hasn't been comfortable at that track.
