John Zudell, Vice President of Operations and Development, explains the process that New Hampshire Motor Speedway will take to make snow for the Inaugural Sno Bowl on February 20-21 to Josh Davis, WMUR News Reporter.

The speedway has successfully made 12 inches of snow on Monday thanks to the three machines from Rock Maple Racing.

Depending on what Mother Nature brings us for snow; New Hampshire Motor Speedway is prepared to create a winter wonderland with more than 1,500 yards of man-made snow.

At night on Tuesday, February 9, NHMS made 12 more inches of snow!

Soon to be transformed into a winter wonderland!

NHMS moved 50 truck loads (20 yards of snow each) totaling 1,000 yards of snow for the Sno Bowl.

Thursday afternoon another 200 dump truck loads (20 yards of snow each) totaling 4,000 yards of snow.

Thursday night was cold enough for the snow makers to be turned back on!

We now have four snow making machines, three from Rock Maple Racing and one from Gunstock Mountain Resort, to help prepare for next weekend's Sno Bowl!

New Hampshire Motor Speedway has made and moved than 60% of the snow needed for this upcoming weekend's Sno Bowl.

Grooming is underway as the Rock Maple Racing course gets set for this weekend’s Sno Bowl.

Event preparations for this weekend's Sno Bowl continue as the heated tent for concession stands and vendors goes up.

Mother Nature contributed 8 inches of snow to the speedway Tuesday night.

The groomers are still working on the Rock Maple Racing course which will feature racing 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Rave X jump is being created for the extreme snowmobile stunts demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
