LOUDON, N.H. – Another B-E-A-utiful sunny day greets us here at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. About the only wrench thrown into the plans this morning was a late-call for a pit stop for iced coffee on Route 106.

Almost missed the commitment cone on that one, but we got in and got out with the lead. Good work driver.

A busy day of practice and qualifying here at the track today.

 

The ACT Late Model Tour runs an hour-long practice beginning at 9 a.m., followed by three 20-lap heat races for the division's All-Star Challenge. Two NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour practices are on the slate, followed by time trials for their Granite State Classic – a 95-lap event tomorrow. The on-track activity also has a pair of last-chance qualifying races for the ACT Late Models.

It's a busy day for the northeast's true grassroots racers. Looking forward to it.
