Each Monday we take a look back at the top performers from the weekend that was.

Rain (where have we heard that before?...) once again put a damper on the festivities across New England, closing down a number of weekly shows and the ACT Late Model Tour, while also delaying the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event and some other notable races.

Still, some guys had no problem getting the job done a few days later than expected. Without further ado...

1. Todd Szegedy, Ridgefield, Conn.

Szegedy won the pole and led every lap of the rain-delayed NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Monadnock 200 at Monadnock Speedway on Sunday, one day later than originally planned. It was Szegedy's 15th career Tour victory.

The victory was made all the sweeter by the fact that Szegedy was actually at Monadnock a week earlier, where he finished second in both ends of a Twin 25-lap event for Modifieds at the track.

2. John Donahue, Graniteville, Vt.

Donahue continued his recent surge on the Late Model scene, winning the VT Governor's Cup 100 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl on Sunday for his second consecutive ACT-sanctioned victory. The race was originally slated for last Thursday before being postponed – and came on the heels of collecting his first ACT victory of the season at White Mountain Motorsports Park last weekend.

3. Keith Rocco, Wallingford, Conn.

Rocco returned to Stafford Motor Speedway Friday night for the first time since separating his shoulder in a crash there and won the track's Late Model feature. The reigning NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national champion then backed that effort by all 35 laps in the SK Modified feature at Waterford Speedbowl on Saturday.

Honorable Mention

Matt Hirschman of Northampton, Pa., finished third in the Monadnock 200 for his first Top-5 of the season on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
