The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is a fan favorite at NHMS. It series features a formidable blend of competition that pits the next generation of drivers against a savvy core of veterans, which has been known to include the appearance of some Cup drivers.
In 2015, Cup Series regular Austin Dillon earned the win in his first Magic Mile truck start since he was a series regular back in 2011. In 2014, however, Cole Custer became the youngest NASCAR National Series winner in history at the age of 16, winning one for the next generation.
The race entitlement partner, the University of Northwestern Ohio, offers the world's first High Performance/Motorsports degree curriculum that takes students from the classroom to the racetrack. It has sponsored this event since the trucks returned to NHMS in 2014.
The event will be the feature event of an exciting Saturday of racing (additional races are TBA). Tickets for the event are good for the entire day.
