Gift of Lights

NHMS Winter Wonderland

Spanning over two miles, the Gift of Lights features over 60 holiday scenes and over 400 light displays.  The course winds around the outside of the track's grandstands and includes a portion of the NHMS Road Course.  It also has the super-popular Tunnel of Lights, which measures over 250 feet in length.

Closed Days

The Gift of Lights will NOT be open on the following days:

Mon., Nov. 24
Tues., Nov. 25
Mon., Dec. 1
Tues., Dec. 2
Mon., Dec. 8
Tues., Dec. 9
Thurs., Dec. 25 (Christmas Day)

Additionally, there will be a delayed opening to 5:30 p.m. on Sun., Dec. 14, due to the Yule Light Up The Night two-mile run.

Buy at the gate or online.

Visitors may buy tickets on-site or online.  Buying online will help make the process faster when you arrive, and there is a $2 discount off the listed price for tickets purchased online.

Carloads may get a $2 discount at the gate by donating three or more non-perishable food items that NHMS will deliver to the Loudon Food Pantry.

Monday-Thursday - $15

Friday-Sunday & Holidays* - $20

*Holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

A portion of the proceeds from Gift of Lights will go to kickstart the 2015 fundraising efforts by the N.H. Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities, the official charity of New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.  All cars in line by the 9 p.m. closing time will be allowed to drive through the Gift of Lights.

Enter at the South Entrance

Visitors to the Gift of Lights should proceed to the South Entrance of New Hampshire Motor Speedway.  This entrance is located next to the Big Apple Shell Station.

There is no physical address for this location, and visitors are encouraged to use the address for the Big Apple and follow signs indicating the entrance:

Upon arrival, please drive through the South Entrance and follow signs and lights until you arrive at the Main Gate, where you will be asked to purchase a ticket.

Visit Santa's Workshop!

After your drive through the Gift of Lights, be sure to stop by Santa's Workshop in the Main Office to see Santa, Milo the Moose (the NHMS mascot), peruse the Gift Shop, and roast a s'more (weekends only).  The tour ends at the parking lot for the Main Office, and visitors are encouraged to park and come check it out.

From opening night through December 23, children, families, adults (anyone, really) may have their photo take with Santa for $5.  The package includes a photosin a custom Gift of Lights framed that is printed on high-quality photo paper in a matter of seconds.

NHMS Gift Shop

NASCAR fan or not, the NHMS Gift Shop has you covered when it comes to rounding out someone's Christmas list.  The shop includes plenty of NASCAR-related merchandise to compliment the NHMS and Gift of Lights products in the store.  The Gift Shop is open every evening until last car has completed the Gift of Lights drive.

S'more Pit

The s'more pit will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, and there is no charge (nor age-limit) to take advantage of this childhood pastime.  The fire pit is located across the parking lot from the Main Office.  All necessary supplies will be provided by a member of our staff at the location.

Dec. 13 - 5-9 p.m. - Granite State Legends Cars Holiday Party

Ever had an interest in racing?  Come to the Gift of Lights and then attend this free party at the Granite State Legends Cars store in the S1 Parking Lot.  Local drivers will be in attendance to talk about their experience racing at NHMS.  Age doesn't matter!  The Crown Trophy Bandolero Series features participants as young as eight years old.

Dec. 14 - 4:30 p.m. - Yule Light Up The Night

This is a two-mile run through the Gift of Lights put on by Millennium Running.  A portion of the proceeds go to support the N.H. Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities.  Pre-event registration is encouraged but not required.  Please note that the Gift of Lights will not open for cars until 5:30 p.m. on this day.

Theme Nights at GIft of Lights

Check out our theme night events and dress accordingly for the evening. If your entire car dresses the theme, you'll get $2 off admission.

  • Pajama Night (every Sunday) - Got a onesie?  Wear it or your favorite pajamas to the Gift of Lights!
  • Sports Night (Wed., Nov. 26) - Wear your favorite sports team memorabilia!
  • Hunting Night (Sat., Nov. 29) - Camo is so in this season ... wear anything and everything you own that is camo.  If you dont, you won't blend in!
  • Beach Party Night (Fri., Dec. 5 & Sat., Dec. 6) - Break out your bright colors! We'll have beach balls, a sand pit, and s'mores!
  • College Night (Thurs., Dec. 11) - Rock your favorite school's logo and colors!
  • Country Night (Wed., Dec. 17) - YEE HAW! Grab your boots and hat and get in the cowboy spirit!
  • Christmas Costume Night (Wed., Dec. 24) - Bringing your little elves with you?  Make sure they look the part! Santa would love to know that some of his little helpers are ready for the Big Night.
  • Mascot Night (Sat., Dec. 27) - Bring the kids out to join Milo and friends at the campfire!
  • Pet Night (Wed., Dec. 31) - Bring your dog, your cat, or even your guinea pig! We've got treats!
