June News: Rainbows and Racing
As Tuesday afternoon's rainbow can attest, the summer season is in full-swing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway!
This weekend, thousands of motorcycle riders will be traveling by the facility to participate in Laconia Motorcycle Week. This year, more than ever, NHMS will serve as a destination for these two-wheel enthusiasts.
On the track, the Loudon Classic's race runs from Friday through Sunday. Saturday afternoon will feature the 92nd running of the Loudon Classic, the longest running motorcycle race in the country. The day will also feature AMA Supermoto, which will go off-road for a portion of its race, as well as the legend cars and bandoleros.
Around the facility, we've set up many biker-friendly attractions. Progressive will be welcoming bikers with rider survival kids, and through Saturday, five manufacturers will allow visitors to test ride their bikes. The list includes Harley-Davidson, Can-Am, Indian, Victory, and Yamaha. Additionally, the Lite Lobster Lounge will be open to serve food and beer, and there will be several merchandise display tents set up.
The Loudon Classic weekend is the first major event in the Oxford Casino Season of Speed, which features two quickly approaching NASCAR weekends. The first of two 25th Anniversary race weekends is just a month away with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series scheduled to run the New Hampshire 301 on July 19.
In an effort to provide the best race weekend experience in our history, we're offering several ticket packages, some of which include driver interactions. The Jimmie Johnson $48 Package is sold out for July (still available for Sept.), but we still have the Magic Mile Club Package available, which includes the chance to attend a Q&A with Carl Edwards.
Fans also might take an interest in the Roar for 24 Package. This includes a commemorative hero card of Jeff Gordon's best performances at NHMS to go along with a grandstand ticket, pre-race pit pass, and Racing Electronics scanner.
Like the Jimmie Johnson package, quantities are limited and we expect to sell out, so be sure to purchase or upgrade soon.
Whether we see you this weekend on two wheels, or whether it won't be until next month that you fulfill your need for speed, we look forward to celebrating our 25th Anniversary season with you!
