Krieger Promoted to Senior Account Executive
Acknowledging a track record of producing positive results and first-rate service at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Whitney Krieger has been promoted to senior account executive today by David McGrath, vice president of corporate sales.
In her newest role, Krieger will manage account activation and branding for over 60 accounts, ranging from employee ticket promotions to major race sponsorships. Krieger, who is responsible for the entitlement sponsorships of the UNOH 175 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Bond Auto Parts ACT Invitational American-Canadian Tour races, will expand on her previous responsibilities as she continues to drive new companies, products and services to the speedway.
"I am excited to see Whitney continue to grow as a sales professional and know she will excel as a senior member of our sales team," said McGrath. "Every day she comes into work intensely focused and full of energy, and brings the kind of balance you look for in a team leader. The balance between someone focused on winning and yet upbeat and optimistic."
Krieger, 26, joined the speedway during the summer of 2009, working her way up from a suite host to sales intern to group ticket sales by the spring of 2010. In the group sales role, Krieger was influential in making record sales and profits, leading to her promotion to account executive with the corporate sales team in the winter of 2011. As account executive, Krieger was named the Account Executive of the Year for 2012, landing two of the speedway's largest accounts in F.W. Webb and Bond Auto Parts, which showed its commitment to the partnership by signing on as the "Official Auto Parts Supplier" of the speedway.
"The past six years have been a whirlwind working for the speedway," said Krieger. "I have enjoyed not only interacting with our fans as an intern and group sales account executive, but have developed relationships that have really helped me grow into the role I am about to enter. I am excited for the challenges ahead and can't wait for the upcoming season of racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway."
Krieger was born in Concord, N.H. and raised in Loudon, N.H. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an option in Marketing from the University of New Hampshire in 2010.
