It's Beginning to Look a lot like Race Week
The first of many campers arrived at 5 a.m. Saturday morning, making New Hampshire Motor Speedway their home for more than a week and four days of non-stop racing action.
Race fans are not the only ones gearing up for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series LENOX Industrial Tools 301 weekend, the NHMS maintenance team continued to prepare the speedway’s 1,100 acres of property for the event. The crew spent most of the weekend putting up billboards and signage, grounds keeping, painting, building new fan amenities and much more.
After the inaugural Sprint Cup race at Kentucky Speedway last night it is Kyle Busch who has the upper hand as the series races into “The Magic Mile.”
Busch dominated the inaugural Sprint Cup Series race in the Bluegrass State leading 125 of 267 laps.
The 26 year old driver of the No. 18 M&M’s Toyota, looks to continue his winning ways when he returns to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 17.
In just seven years of racing on “The Magic Mile,” Busch has claimed five wins, two of which came last year. He became the first ever repeat winner in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at NHMS in 23 races. When NASCAR returned in September, Busch also dominated the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, winning both the pole and 175-lap event.
Don’t miss your chance to see Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. go the extra mile during the LENOX Industrial Tools 301 on Sunday, July 17.
