Gappens to Speak at Rivier's Leadership Forum
NASHUA, N.H. - The Rivier University President's Circle will host a Leadership Forum on Wednesday, March 26, featuring a presentation by Jerry Gappens, executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. "Racing to Success," a discussion of the strategic and operational planning of the speedway, will talk about the broad impact of sports marketing on the New England economy.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is the largest sports and entertainment venue in New England and the host of two annual NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events. Gappens has more than 15 years of experience promoting events for Speedway Motorsports, Inc., and 25 years of experience in the motorsports industry. Known for creative and innovative promotions, Gappens served as senior vice president of events and marketing for Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina prior to his move to New Hampshire.
Comprised of distinguished business and community leaders, the Rivier University President's Circle supports Rivier's educational mission, opens dialogue and promotes the exchange of ideas and approaches for dealing with issues impacting the businesses and citizens of New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
