Enter to Be an Honorary Pit Crew Member
New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Toyota Racing are offering one lucky fan the opportunity of a lifetime to become an honorary pit crew member for a day. The winning fan will have the opportunity to help the Red Horse Racing team of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series during the F.W. Webb 175 at NHMS on Saturday, Sept. 24. Red Horse Racing fields the No. 7 team of Miguel Paludo and the No. 17 of Timothy Peters.
As a pit crew member for the day, you will have many opportunities to help these crews prepare for the race. On race day, you will help the crew set up the pit box for the race, attend the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers meeting and the team meeting in the No. 17 hauler, stand with the team during the national anthem and sit atop the No. 7 pit box for the first pit stop. You will also receive a gift bag from Red Horse Racing, have the opportunity to get autographs from both Paludo and Peters and will be provided with a scanner to listen in during the race.
Entering the contest is simple! Just visit the New Hampshire Motor Speedway Facebook page at www.facebook.com/nhmotorspeedway (if you don’t already “Like” the page, you will need to do so) to enter. Once you’re there, find the tab on the left labeled “Pit Crew Contest,” click the button to enter and fill out the requested personal information. To be eligible, you must also answer the challenge question: Which driver leads the Truck Series with three wins at NHMS? If you’re having trouble figuring out the answer, surf NHMS.com to find a list of race winners.
The contest will run Tues, Sept. 13 through Sun, Sept. 18 with the winner being announced and contacted on Sept. 19. Due to safety restrictions, you must be 18 years of age by Sept. 24 to be eligible win. There is a limit of one entry per person. Winner will be chosen randomly based on all those that provide complete information and correctly answer the challenge question. No purchase is necessary. You must “like” New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Facebook for the ability to enter.
