Danica Time: Patrick to Visit Magic Mile Club
LOUDON, N.H. - Whether it's on television or standing behind the pit wall, everyone has the opportunity to see Danica Patrick and her bright green firesuit as she stands on pit road before the race. But not everyone has the chance to talk to Danica Patrick moments before she heads out for 300 laps just prior to strapping in for the race. That exclusive opportunity, however, is available through New Hampshire Motor Speedway's Magic Mile Club, which will welcome Patrick as a special guest prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series SYLVANIA 300 race on Sept. 21.
Patrick will visit with fans and answer questions at the infield-located Magic Mile Club, before the start of the SYLVANIA 300 - the second race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.
Magic Mile Club passes may be purchased for $249 per person, which includes a $49 Laconia Grandstand ticket. Anyone that already has a race ticket may purchase a Magic Mile Club ticket without a race ticket for $200.
Patrick has only three Sprint Cup Series races under her belt at the Magic Mile, but has gotten progressively better with every trip to the Loudon racetrack. Patrick finished a career-best 22nd at the 1.058-mile oval in the July 13 Camping World RV Sales 301, finishing on the lead lap and just behind the previous year's race winner Brian Vickers.
"I think it's a lot of fun," said Patrick of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. "It's a little bit challenging, but I think I've gotten better at there over the last couple years. We had our best finish there in July and there's no reason we can't try and improve on that in September."
The Magic Mile Club offers fans the opportunity to enjoy the ultimate VIP Hospitality experience on the morning of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The package includes:
- Food and Beverage Service
- Souvenir Race program
- Limited Edition Souvenir
- Pre-race Entertainment
- Pre-race Pit Pass (a $100 value)
- Laconia Grandstand Ticket (a $49 value)
The Magic Mile Club opens at 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the SYLVANIA 300 at the same time gates open. The club closes at the start of the race and fans will be asked to go to their grandstand seats at that time.
Due to Patrick's hectic race-day schedule there will be no opportunity for autographs or photos.
For this exclusive opportunity to see Danica Patrick up close and personal, purchase tickets to the SYLVANIA 300 and the Magic Mile Club by calling the track's ticket hotline at (603) 783-4931 or by visiting www.nhms.com.
